Coaching Jan 30th 2009 MSR – Glenn S. and Mike R.
Glenn and Mike came out to MSR for a day on the 3.1 mile course to pick up a few pointers. Both of these drivers are very capable and their cars are as well. We were able to find a fews seconds for both drivers cleaning up a few lines here and there while improving technique in other areas. It was a blast to be at the track with both of them and I look forward to our next outing. Cheers, J
Coaching Jan 21st 2009 ECR – Scott C.
Scott is a very capable driver who was looking for a bit of assistance before starting his racing season. We re-engineered his driving style a bit and ened up with a very fast pace that was more consistent. His ability to adapt his driving style and understand the new techniques was impressive to say the least. Best of luck in Sebring, J
Coaching Jan 17-18th 2009 MSR – Dr. K and G
Dr. K brought out Dr. G to share the GT3 for the weekend. It was Dr. G’s 1st time to the track and by the end of the weekend he was showing very good skills on the track. Dr. K was doing very well turning the fastest time of the two, although I could not tell which had the bigger smile. I have a feeling there is a Porsche in Dr. G’s future. Cheers to both, J
Coaching Jan 11th 2009 H2R – Barry A.
Barry did an impressive job today finding right at 2 seconds in his well prepared Lotus. We found some interesting lines that proved to be faster with the data and Barry did an excellent job behind the wheel to bring it all together. If you have never had the chance to take a Lotus for a spin I highly recommend the experience. Nice Work, J
Testing Steve’s new F430 Challenge Car at ECR 1-10
Steve has decided the GT3RS has run it’s course and decided to up for a Ferrari F430 Challenge car. We took it to the track where it proceeded to impress both of us at how easy it was to drive while going very fast. It was far to easy to do 1:50.00’s and we are thinking with a few adjustments it should be a bit below that mark. What an awesome car…a special thanks to Steve for allowing me to drive his new toy a bit. Sweet, J
Coaching Jan 9th 2009 MSR – Bill S.
What can I say…when a GT3 on slicks prepared by John Galdwill shows up you know the day is going to be awesome. Bill is an increadible driver considering he has only been driving at the track for a little over a year. By the end of the day Bill had found some pace and most importantly consistency. Once again it has been proven that when you go from motorcycles to cars the results are usually impressive. If you ever see this Red GT3 coming get out of the way!
Coaching Jan 4th 2009 H2R – Michael H.
This was my first time at H2R and Michael brought out well prepared Caymen S for the outing. We completely wore out the tires on this car and it was a serious handful by days end. Even with the tire wear Micheal handled the car like a pro and we were able to find time and consistency today. It will be interesting to see how much faster he goes with some new tires! Great Job, J
Coaching Jan 3rd 2009 ECR – Brian B.
Brian has an amazing passion for driving that is evident the minute you speak with him. He is a great driver who is always at the track when time permits and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. It is not every day you spend a day at the track in a Carrera S with a farmer.
