It is always a pleasure when Guy and Corey come out for some track time. They are both focused on bettering their driving and I am happy to be their coach. It is great to see Guy getting a handle on his GT3 Cup car and Corey’s G-car is really getting fast. I look forward to their next race as I think they are going to be very happy with their results. Coaching June 20-21 2009 ECR – Dr. K
Dr. K will be heading to Bondurant after this session to get his racing license. He has come long way and is starting to carry a good pace. It is always great to be at the track with Kordy as his desire to race is so strong. It will be great to see his 1st race some day. J
Coaching May 23rd 2009 MSR – Tu and Rocky
Tu brought his brither in alw out for a day at the track while he was in town. It was Rocky’s 1st time ever on a race track and adapted quickly. The nice guy that Tu is he let Rocky experience the track for the 1st time in a 997 GT3! Tu was out in his 360 and really enjoyed the handling of the Ferrari. Great job by both drivers today and I look forward to getting out to the track again in the future…safe travels Rocky. Cheers, J
Coaching Apl 21-22nd 2009 ECR – Dr. K
This was the first weekend Dr. K and I have been able to spend at ECR. He was able to get experience in the dry and the wet doing an awesome job in both. Dr. K showed real driving pace this weekend and was able to feel the rain line and take advantage of it. This was a really fun weekend for me to be able to watch Dr.K’s ability to adapt quickly to a new track with varied weather. Fantastic drive, J
Coaching Apl 11th 2009 MSR – Dr.K and Ali
Dr.K brought his brother out as a birthday present, it was Ali’s 1st time ever on the track. Ali did a great job of driving and we had a blast. Dr.k was able to post some very consistent sessions which was great considering they we also faster lap times then he has yet posted. Happy Birthday Ali, J
Coaching Mar 8th 2009 MSR – Steve C.
In preparation for the TWS PCA race Steve decided to bring his GT3 out for a day to shake out the cob webs. He did an awesome job of carrying higher mid-corner speeds and turning faster laps times. He has made great strides towards becoming a more consistent driver. It is always a good time to be at the track with Steve. Great job, J
Coaching Jan 9th 2009 MSR – Bill S.
What can I say…when a GT3 on slicks prepared by John Galdwill shows up you know the day is going to be awesome. Bill is an increadible driver considering he has only been driving at the track for a little over a year. By the end of the day Bill had found some pace and most importantly consistency. Once again it has been proven that when you go from motorcycles to cars the results are usually impressive. If you ever see this Red GT3 coming get out of the way!
Coaching May 10th 2008 ECR – Guy D.
Guy has been improving his skills over the years and decided to take up some coaching before entering his first race. We were able to find a few seconds in his lap times and went over some race strategy during the day. Guy was rewarded with a victory in his first race which is a feat few can say they have had.
